Proposal

PRO-1042

Website redesign and Shopify storefront build

Prepared for

Email
dana@meridiancoffee.example

Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to talk through the shop this week. It was clear that the current storefront is doing your products a disservice: shoppers arrive from Instagram, and most leave before they see anything.

This proposal sets out a focused redesign and a Shopify build that fixes that, without a six-month agency engagement.

Project understanding

You sell a small range of coffee that is easy to buy elsewhere, so the site has to earn the visit rather than assume loyalty. You mentioned the roast subscription is the part you most want to grow, and that the current checkout is where people give up.

We have scoped this around those two goals: get visitors to the products quickly, and make subscribing easier than not subscribing.

Scope of work

  • Discovery and analytics review of the current storefront
  • Visual design: homepage, product listing, product detail, cart, and subscription flow
  • Shopify theme build on a supported, widely used theme
  • Mobile-first layout and performance pass
  • Subscription flow configuration and testing
  • Checkout simplification and abandonment review
  • Launch, redirect mapping and post-launch monitoring

Deliverables

  • Approved designs for all key pages, desktop and mobile
  • Built and tested Shopify theme
  • Configured subscription and checkout flow
  • Redirect map preserving existing URLs
  • Launch checklist and handover walkthrough
  • Two weeks of post-launch support for fixes

Timeline

  • Phase 1 (week 1): discovery, analytics review, design direction
  • Phase 2 (weeks 2-3): design and client review
  • Phase 3 (weeks 4-6): Shopify build, subscription and checkout configuration
  • Phase 4 (week 7): testing, redirects, launch

A note for you

Happy to walk you through any of this on a call before you decide.

How it works

The same four steps every time, whether the project is a $500 logo or a $50,000 build.

  1. Step 1

    Create it

Describe the project in a sentence, or fill in the sections yourself. Add your line items and the totals calculate themselves.

  2. Step 2

    Send it

Your client gets a private link. No account, no app, nothing to install — it opens in any browser.

  3. Step 3

    They sign

They review the terms, accept, and sign electronically. You get an immutable copy of exactly what they signed.

  4. Step 4

    You get paid

Turn the accepted proposal into an invoice in one click. Your client pays you directly.

Everything between the quote and the payment

AI proposal drafting

Describe the work in a few sentences and get a structured proposal draft — introduction, scope, deliverables, timeline and pricing. It will not invent facts about your business, and you edit everything before it goes out.

Contracts included

An editable terms template covering services, payment, revisions, cancellation, IP, confidentiality and liability. Adapt it to your practice before you send.

Invoices that match

Convert an accepted proposal to an invoice with the line items already filled in. Invoice numbers are generated per business automatically.

Private links

Every proposal gets an unguessable URL. Your client's copy is theirs; nobody can browse a list of your other clients' quotes.

Signed records that hold up

Accepting a proposal freezes an exact copy of the document. Later edits to the proposal never alter what your client signed.

You stay in control of payment

We never take a cut of your client payments and never sit between you and them. Add your own payment link or bank details to any invoice.

Three templates, all responsive

Your client reads this on their phone, usually. All three are built mobile-first.

Questions

Does my client need an account?

No. They open a private link, read the proposal, and sign with a typed or drawn signature. Nothing to install.

Is the signature legally binding?

We record an electronic signature together with a timestamp, the signer's details and an immutable copy of the exact document they signed. We make no claim about how that is treated in any particular jurisdiction — if that matters to you, check with a lawyer in yours.

Is the contract legal advice?

No. It is a starting template. Review and adapt it to your practice and jurisdiction before sending it to a client.

How do I get paid?

Directly from your client, through you. We never process, hold or take a fee on client payments. Put your own payment link or bank details on the invoice.

Will the AI make things up about my business?

It is instructed not to, and it returns a list of anything it could not determine so you can fill it in. Everything it writes is editable before you send.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. Custom domains are not in this version.
